I have spent the last 20 years, primarily working in education, more specifically early childhood special education. I have worked in classrooms, and as an administrator responsible for ensuring high quality programs for our youngest learners and their families. I have dedicated myself to supporting the goals and dreams of families as they watch their children grow and learn.

 

NOW...I get to do the same as I support buyers and sellers as we set out to meet their real estate goals, which let's be real, is very often about family. Whether you're buying a home with the ideas of starting a family and wanting to be in the best possible schools , or you're looking for a home to be closer to your children and grandchildren, or for every stage in between, it's critical to have a guide that listens, supports, and guides you through to reaching your goal.  

 

I've always had the ability to walk into a space and find the potential, or see it’s future–full of furnishings, family, friends and laughter! In high school I was in architecture, drafting and wood working because there was nothing more satisfying than taking ideas from a vision to reality. I enjoy the challenge of maximizing function while maintaining an aesthetic of your choosing to create a home. And while I adore shiny new houses, I also really enjoy an opportunity to reinvent existing spaces as well.

I understand that the process of buying or selling a home has the potential to be stressful and overwhelming, and I also know that it can be incredibly exciting with the right support to help navigate the process. I'm not one to give up on a pursuit to find the needles in the haystack and my tenacity makes me a fantastic advocate for the best outcomes! I want my clients to not feel like clients, but rather individuals that feel valued and supported and cared for by me. I want their experience with me to feel like they have a personal guide or navigator that travels the road alongside them from where they are to where they want to be. It means that I will “show up”, answer your questions, listen for understanding, help sift through all the static, show you things you didn’t think you wanted or hadn’t thought of before AND then, in the end, you’re right where you wanted to be or discovered you wanted to be as we traveled the road together.

When I’m not running to catch our kids doing what they love or enjoying a day on the lake with my husband and horse of a dog, I’m likely dreaming up the next DIY project while already being elbows deep in one.
